He married (1) Viola Smith.Violas parents are Unknown He married (2) Loretta JAne Tennyson 28 June 1947 in East St. Louis, St. Clair County, Illinois1, daughter of Frank Tennison and Edith Garrison. She was born 04 April 1900 in Dahlgren, Illinois, and died January 1981 in Flagstaff, Arizona. Walter had no children.

Martha Wylie was born 10 March 1860 in Little Rock, Arkansas, and died 27 February 1965 in East St. Louis, St. Clair County, Illinois. Martha's parents are unknown. She married (1) Moses Jaco (aka: Jake King) 08 February 1896 in St. Francois County, Missouri. He was born 08 October 1860 in Iron County, Missouri, and died 08 November 1914 in St. Francois County, Missouri. Moses parents are unknown. Known children of Martha and Moses are Joseph King, Walter King (Auth), Jake Thomas King and Margaret King. She married (2) William Kelly December 1929 in Missouri. He was born 01 January 1871 in Ireland, and died 03 August 1951 in East St. Louis, St. Clair County, Illinois. Martha and William had no children.

Obit ~ Woman, 104, Dies, Outlived Children ~ March 1, 1965 ~ E. St. Louis Journal
Mrs. Martha Kelly, one of the oldest residents of St Clair county, died at 8:15 p.m. at Christian Welfare Hospital. Mrs Kelly would of been 105 March 10. She resided with her friends, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron McDowell on 864 Minnesota Ave. in E. St. Louis. A native of Little Rock Arkansas, she has resided here in E. St. Louis for 50 years. Proceeded in death by her husband, William in 1953, and 12 of her 13 children. She is survived by a son, Walter Kelly of Phoenix Arizona, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements are incomplete but the funeral will be at Robbins Funeral Home in E. St. Louis, on Wednesday ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
According to Martha's obit she had 13 children, I know of only 4 children Joseph King, Walter King (Auth), Jake Thomas King and Margaret King.

Joseph King son of Moses Jaco (Jake King) and Martha Wylie was born 09 January 1890 in Farmington, Missouri, and died 29 December 1961 in Centerville, St. Clair County, Illinois. He married (1) Rose A. Hause, daughter of Jacob Hause and Barbara Unknown. She was born 03 September 1892 in St. Louis, Missouri, and died 11 February 1921 in St. Louis, Missouri. Children of Joseph and Rose are Evelyn and Joseph. He married (2) Ethel Anderson 19 May 1936 in East St. Louis, St. Clair County, Illinois1, daughter of Harrison Anderson and Sarah Stivers. She was born 04 February 1913 in Blackwell, Missouri, and died 20 December 1997 in Marissa, St. Clair County, Illinois. Obituary

Joseph King dies at 78 Belleville News Democrat December 31, 1961 The funeral services for Joseph King will be held Tuesday at 1p.m. at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ in E. St. Louis with the Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Belleville, IL. Friends may call after 3 pm, at the Robbins Funeral Home on Tuesday. Mr. King died Friday at 10:15 a.m. of a lingering illness in Centerville Township Hospital. He had been in the Hospital for four days. Born in Farmington, Mo., he lived in E. St. Louis for 30 years. He had retired as a sand blaster 10 years ago. Survivors include: his wife Ethel, four daughters: Mrs. Betty Trail of Belleville, Ruthann, Sunday, and Rachel King, all of E. St. Louis, and six sons: Roy, Fred, Glenwood, Walter, and Harvey, all of E. St. Louis, and Hubert of Collinsville. His mother Martha Kelly (Wylie) also survives him, as well as a brother , Walter of California, a sister Margaret King of St Louis, and a number of grandchildren.
